Legal information about HEIM:SPIEL

Information on usage-based online advertising

On this page you will find information about online advertising delivered by us as well as content created by us on (other) websites. Further information within the scope of the DSGVO on data collection and processing can be found under Legal Notice / Data Protection.
The Internet offer or the website from which you have just been linked is either operated or marketed by us (HEIM:SPIEL Medien GmbH & Co. KG) or contains content from us. The advertising or our content on these websites may be optimized for you by anonymously collecting and processing your usage behavior and targeting it to predicted interests. As a result, you as a user benefit by receiving advertisements or content that are more likely to match your areas of interest and by receiving less randomly distributed advertising overall.

Processing purposes, legal bases

Insofar as the processing purpose is the storage of information on your terminal device or the personalization of advertisements, the legal basis in each case is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO. Otherwise, the legal basis is the exercise of the legitimate advertising interests of our customers under Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO. This includes the display of non-personalized advertisements and the statistical evaluation of the effectiveness of the advertisements. For more information on processing purposes and legal bases for data processing in the context of online marketing, please see  IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework Policies (external Link).

Browser Cookies

A cookie is stored on your computer for recording your usage behavior. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the hard drive of your computer and allow recognition, but do not allow personal identification of your person.

What data is recorded?

Information is recorded about your activities on the websites marketed, operated or enriched by us in terms of content (e.g. surfing behavior, sub-pages visited of the internet offers, advertising banners clicked, etc.). Since, according to the applicable legal situation, it cannot be completely ruled out that the collected data may allow an indirect reference to a person, all usage data is stored anonymously, so that personal identification is virtually ruled out. If necessary, this data is used in connection with anonymous data from online questionnaires. The IP address of your computer or Internet connection transmitted for technical reasons is anonymized and not used for the controlled display of advertising or other content.

In general, you can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive by prohibiting the setting of cookies in your browser settings.
